Moving Time!

Well, we've spent the last week packing and now its time to move to the new house tomorrow!

We have about 10 of us doing the move, so hopefully the 110 degree weather doesn't kill anyone. Just went and picked up a bunch of water, gaterade and beer (for afterwards).

We got the keys to the house yesterday after the walkthrough. Pretty much they did a really good job fixing the bow in the island, the other wall isn't perfect, but its much better than it was. Everything else was fine. Also ended up going to Lowe's and started the buying spree yesterday, got a 8 foot ladder (we have vaulted ceilings up to almost 11 ft), a ceiling fan to install, a pole for the ceiling fan to hang on since it needs to drop down to clear the vaulted ceilings), some temporary blinds for the bedroom, and a programmable thermostat. Of course then we had to go back to lowes because the pole we got for the ceiling fan was too long. And it was an adventure, putting the 8 foot ladder in the back of Ian's convertible with me sitting in the back holding the ladder cruising down the street.

Well, I will be offline for a bit until we get things set up at the new place. Work doesn't let me on the blog sites, mean work!
