Always Behind

Well, its been a while....

Been incredibly busy with work, need to find a job where they don't expect you to work so much :). Maybe I should just start playing the lottery or something...I could deal with not working for a while!

Anyway, we bought a pool this weekend! Well, at least signed a contract for one, so we will have some new construction going on here soon!

Our new dining room table. We got this just in time for Thanksgiving. Ian's parents visited us for the week, and we would have had to have dinner on the coffee table if we didn't get the table in time. Actually had to go and pick it up with a friend's truck and enlist a couple guys to come over and help put it together....

Our Christmas tree. Ended up staying in Arizona for Christmas this year, was nice to be at the new house for it. But of course missed all the family. Also shown is our new living room furniture (sofa and table were a housewarming/Christmas gift from Ian's parents). House is starting to lose some of the "college look". (before we got the new leather sofa we had the old futon as a couch). Maybe one of these days, we'll put something up on the walls.

Had some friends over for Christmas (everyone who was staying in town). Lots of fun with the new XBox360....beer....wine....good times :)

Ian complained that I didn't take any pictures of the new tv...so here it is. 46' LCD. We are now addicted to watching everything in HD :)

Besides the usual house stuff, been busy with friends and the usual stuff. Got to go play a Wii last night (may be our next game system...we already have a PS2, GameCube and Xbox360). Have several trips planned out soon....a white water rafting trip here in Arizona, a certain someone getting married in July!, and possibly a Vegas trip in April....

Weather has been beautiful here, although its cooled off some. Course cool right now probably means its only getting up to 70 during the day. We did have the coldest January in 28 years this year. People had all sorts of problems with the cold....pipes freezing....etc...we did have most of our front plants die. Or at least I think they are dead (kind of new to the whole landscaping thing).
