First Option Selections

So the next step after choosing the floorplan is deciding the structural options...and of course signing the contract and paying a crazy amount of money for "earnest money". So last Monday, we went down to do all of that fun stuff. The lot we decided on is pretty normal, its 60 ft wide and 124 ft deep, which should give us enough of a yard to have a pool. That only really leaves 5 feet on one side between you and your neighbor and 10 feet on the other side. Hopefully the neighbors are friendly!

First step was to pick the elevation, I had a big preference towards the one with stone on the front, so we went with that one.

Then they bring out a board with a bunch of colors and you get to pick your color scheme. That was a little more difficult since It's hard to picture a house based off of some colors on a a board. We narrowed it down between 2, and just picked one. Afterwards we drove around to find some other houses with that color scheme to see what it looked like.

Then we got to start spending money...

Is the house in the picture the color scheme you picked? Did like the color scheme once you saw the other houses?
